# JobFlow Tracker Privacy Policy

## Summary

JobFlow Tracker does not collect, sell, transmit, or share your data. Your saved jobs, notes, statuses, reminders, and settings stay in your browser using Chrome's local storage APIs.

## What the extension reads

When you click the extension on a supported job board, JobFlow Tracker reads visible job-page text such as:

- Job title
- Company name
- Location
- Salary snippet when visible
- Current page URL

This is used only to pre-fill the save form.

## What is stored locally

JobFlow stores the following in `chrome.storage.local`:

- Saved job records
- Application status
- Follow-up dates
- Notes you enter
- Dashboard settings

This data is not synced to a JobFlow server in this version.

## What is not collected

JobFlow does not collect or transmit:

- Account credentials
- Cookies or session tokens
- Résumés or uploaded documents
- Full browsing history
- Analytics or telemetry
- IP address or device identifiers
- Payment information

## Network activity

This version makes no outbound network requests. All code is packaged locally with the extension.

## User control

You can export your job pipeline as CSV from the dashboard. You can also clear all saved jobs from the Settings view. Uninstalling the extension removes locally stored extension data.

## Future paid versions

If a future version adds cloud sync, team features, licensing, or payment processing, this policy should be updated before release to describe the service provider and data flow.
